About

Thanks for checking out my blog!

You may have noticed that I don’t update it that much. Reason? Lazy. Just so very lazy.

Believe me, I am trying very hard to fix that. I love to blog, but pressing the keyboard keys repeatedly is just so hard. So very hard.

Anyway, now that we’ve established that I’m extremely lazy, I can tell you something useful about myself in terms of photography…Well, I love photography (that’s a given) but this is a love that is second only to my gorgeous wife (who I love more than absolutely anything/anyone in this world).

Being the geek that I am, I first got drawn to photography’s technical side. I was absolutely fascinated by the technology in today’s cameras and how they have evolved over time. But then, as I dwelled deeper into the never ending creative pit, I realised there is so much more to photography than just the cameras. And now, I cannot think of my life without photography.

I tried a few times to start a photography business (mainly events – weddings, concerts, etc.) but that all failed when I realised that I wasn’t drawn to that particular style. I love creating scenes that are in my head without too much photo manipulation without having to take into account anyone else’s instructions. That’s when I decided to keep this hobby a hobby.

Recently I discovered street photography and I absolutely love it. I’m not good at it but that thought of capturing a moment that will never exist again is simply surreal. That is the main thing that has drawn me towards street photography and I think I will be sticking to this style of photography for a very long time. The best part of street photography is that one never gets bored of doing it; there’s always a new challenge, new subjects to photograph and endless compositions to create.

Anyway, please subscribe to my blog and see how I go on my journey of bettering myself at the art of street photography.

My new year’s resolution is to update this blog at least once a fortnight (at least). Hopefully I keep it.

See ya!
